John Corina Memorial Fund
Ensuring that Anyone Can Sing
In keeping with our mission to provide singing opportunities to members of our community, the Classic City Community Chorus has established the John Corina Memorial Fund to provide financial assistance to members who need help paying for dues, music, and/or other costs of participation.
-
Any current or prospective member may request assistance by speaking with a Board member at rehearsal or by emailing us at info@classiccitycommunitychorus.org.
-
The CCCC Board of Directors decides who receives funds, for what purpose (dues, music, concert attire, other), and how often. The Board will make these decisions based on the number of applicants, their understanding of each applicant’s needs, the amount available in the Fund, and other circumstances the Board deems significant. Pursuant to the CCCC Non-Discrimination policy, the Board does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in making these decisions. Applicants may be asked to provide evidence of financial need to help inform this decision.
-
Members and donors can donate to CCCC specifically for the John Corina Memorial Fund. We typically have a collection jar available at rehearsals throughout the season.
Allocation to this dedicated Fund has been capped by the board at $600 - funds raised that would raise this Fund above that limit are instead allocated to the CCCC general Fund. Announcements are made and donors are advised when this is the case.
